Father's Day Wish from Greenwood High International School
‘Father’, the first and real hero of our lives. It’s said
‘Pitru Devo Bhava’ which means the father is equal to God. What can match his
fight against all the odds for a lifetime to provide his kids with the best in
everything? Nothing. Fatherhood is a responsibility that comes with love and
affection, and not power. There's purity and even divinity in it.
His sacrifices are unparalleled and that’s a relationship,
which can’t be replaced. A person might dream of a big house, a luxurious car
etc., till he becomes a father, but later his dream will be mostly to see his child
happy. Studies show that a father’s affection, support, and involvement
contribute to a child’s social, cognitive and language development to a great
extent.
What makes a Dad the
hero of one’s life?
His tenacity and uncompromising attitude to give his kids everything they need.
Right from education to discipline, the unconditional love and a shoulder his
kids can always lean on, a dad will always want his kids to get the best. His

It’s those special evenings that are unforgettable when a
dad rushes back home from work to teach his child how to ride a bicycle or how
to swim. A father feels watching his kids grow. It would be mostly him who
would capture all those moments in pictures. A dad always stand by his kid’s
side even when they fail. Always motivating them to succeed without quitting. A
father always makes sure that his family feels safe. He builds confidence in
kids and tells them that everything is fine. Well, he makes sure that
everything is fine. That’s what makes him our real hero.
